Heathrow Airport Expansion Survey

Residents may be aware that on Monday 25th June 2018, the House of Commons voted in favour of a third runway at Heathrow Airport. In line with his long-standing commitment to his constituents, our Member of Parliament, Adam Afriyie MP, voted against these proposals and will continue to oppose the Third Runway.

The fight is not over. The Conservative Councillors at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead were elected on a mandate to oppose Heathrow expansion and over the next few weeks will be considering advice regarding a challenge to the decision and whether to join the legal action proposed by Wandsworth, Richmond and Hillingdon Councils.

This survey has been put together for us to understand the views of local residents on this issue.
