Clewer North By-Election

West Windsor Residents' Association candidate Wisdom Da Costa won the Clewer North by-election on 4th May 2017 by 805 votes to the 784 votes received by Conservative candidate Lars Swann.

The by-election took place after Conservative Councillor John Collins stepped down for ‘personal reasons’.

Council Leader, Cllr Simon Dudley, said: “This seat was held by the Independents for 28 years and it’s been a hard-fought campaign. The turnout was high and it shows that democracy is alive in the Royal Borough."
