Local Elections 2017

Our candidate Puja Bedi, stood in Colnbrook with Poyle Ward. 

On 3rd May 2018, Puja Bedi received 620 votes to the Labour candidate's 697 votes.

Whilst we were disappointed with the result, we are extremely grateful for all the hard work that was done by the campaign volunteers.

General Election 2017

In 2017, Adam Afriyie MP was re-elected in the Windsor Constituency with a majority of 22,384 votes. 

Adam Afriyie MP said: “I’d really like to thank all of the very active, hard working helpers, volunteers and activists who worked with me on the streets of Windsor and elsewhere. The result has been very good for the Windsor constituency and for the electorate I give you the commitment to continue to fight for the things you care about locally.”

Activists from Windsor Conservatives also supported candidates in several other constituencies; including Slough, Ashton-under-Lyne and Richmond.

Clewer North By-Election 2017

West Windsor Residents' Association candidate Wisdom Da Costa won the Clewer North by-election on 4th May 2017 by 805 votes to the 784 votes received by Conservative candidate Lars Swann. 

The by-election took place after Conservative Councillor John Collins stepped down for ‘personal reasons’.

Council Leader, Cllr Simon Dudley, said: “This seat was held by the Independents for 28 years and it’s been a hard-fought campaign. The turnout was high and it shows that democracy is alive in the Royal Borough."
